Bond payments should be made at West Fargo Municipal Court. If the defendant is in custody at Cass County, hail payments can be made at the Cass County Jail. The Cass County Jail operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is located at:

A person who receives a traffic ticket from a West Fargo police officer may contest it by requesting a court date. They then must post bail in the amount of the citation at the West Fargo Municipal Court within 14 days of receiving the citation. The court clerk will assign a court date to appear and you can plead your case before a judge and question the officer. If the judge rules in your favor, the bail will be refunded to the appropriate parties. Failure to appear for the requested trial will result in the bond being applied to the citation, resolving the case.

If you have received a parking ticket, you may bring a payment in person to the West Fargo Police Department, or you may mail the payment with your parking ticket to the West Fargo Police Department at (800 Fourth Ave. E, Suite 2, West Fargo, ND 58078).

Traffic tickets issued by a West Fargo police officer can be paid either in person or by mailing payment to the West Fargo Municipal Court (800 Fourth Ave. E., Suite 2, West Fargo, ND 58078). Payment is accepted through check, cash, money order, or credit card Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please make checks payable to West Fargo Municipal Court. AMEX is not accepted.
Payments made through the mail MUST have a stamp or payment will not be received. Payments made through the mail should also include citation or name of defendant clearly written. If not, payment will not be accepted and could result in suspension of Driver’s License.

You must provide a physical copy of your insurance. Insurance must be active at the time of issuance. The insurance will not be accepted if not active on issuance date. Insurance must be for the vehicle listed on the citation.

A formal request needs to provided either over the phone or in person before the request will be processed. There is a $10 fee per case. Request will be completed within 24-48 hours if not requested in person.
