WEST FARGO POLICE CONDUCT STOP LIGHT ENFORCEMENT 3/5/2010 West Fargo Police Officers ticketed 12 drivers for red light violations March 4th and 5th while initiating their new enforcement actions. The enforcement period ran from 7:15 AM to 8:30 AM both days.

Cass County to Conduct CodeRED Phone Drill February 2nd 1/25/2010 In an effort to test the CodeRED system and encourage Cass County residents to sign up for CodeRED, Cass County Emergency Management will conduct a CodeRED phone call drill on Tuesday, February 2nd.

Press Release - Text Message Alert 1/12/2010 The West Fargo Police Department has received numerous notifications of a text message that appears to notify individuals through Fargo Public Schools that their card has been deactivated. When calling the number to reactivate the card individuals are prompted to give there Bank Card information and PIN number through an automated message. The West Fargo Police Department reminds people to not give out their private information to any company they are not familiar with.

Two new officers hired by West Fargo Police Department 1/08/2010 Mr. Dustin Manecke and Mr. Jorge Gonzalez officially joined the West Fargo Police Department January 4th, 2010 as patrol officers.

West Fargo Police Department Becomes Prescription Drug Dropoff Location 12/21/2009 West Fargo Police become a drop site for the North Dakota Attorney General's new program "Take Back" , which provides permanent prescription drug disposal containers in a number of cities, Bismarck, Minot, Fargo, Grand Forks and now West Fargo. Residents of those cities and surrounding communities can safely dispose of unused prescription drugs in the permanent Take Back disposal containers located in the lobby of the local police departments in those cities.
