Signal Light at 40th Ave & Sheyenne St

As a result of high winds, the guy wire for the signal light located at 40th Ave & Sheyenne Street has broken.  Although it is passable by passenger vehicles and light trucks, delays are expected. Crews are on site for repair.  However, it is not expected to be completed until 9 a.m. If you have any questions or concerns you may contact Chris Brungardt at West Fargo Public Works.

RSS Icon Dying on North Dakota Highways 04-12-2013 In the April 12th addition of ‘The Forum’ an article appeared on page A5 titled Highway deaths have mayor looking for answers. Watford City Mayor Brent Sanford referenced the nine traffic fatalities in McKenzie County representing twenty-eight percent of the thirty-two traffic related deaths in North Dakota so far this year. The thirty-two deaths are three more than this time last year and puts the state on pace for 128 traffic fatalities by the end of the year according to the Department of Transportation (NDDOT).
