Citizen Police Academy is Taking Applications

Citizen Police Academy is currently taking applications for the Spring Session of CPA. It is a twelve week program that meets every Thursday evening from 7pm – 10pm. Spring Session starts February 18th, 2010 at 7pm. 

This program is designed to increase the understanding between citizens and the police through hands on training. In addition to specialized classroom training, citizens are exposed to patrol duties with Police Department Officers. Citizens will participate in a wide range of training from classroom sessions to actual training scenarios.
 
There is no cost to join Citizen Police Academy. Officer Rhonda Jorgensen is the instructor for the class, she will accept the applications in the order that they arrive. More information is located on our CPA page on the West Fargo Police Website. If you have questions about CPA please feel free to contact Officer Jorgensen at (701)-433-5500. 
 
Application Process: Fill out the online application (pdf) and mail it to Citizen Police Academy, West Fargo Police Department, 800 4 Ave E Suite 2, West Fargo, ND 58078. Or drop it off at the West Fargo Police Department.
