Summer Reading Program

The theme of the 2018 Summer Reading Program is Libraries Rock, and we have many exciting events planned for all ages - preschool through teens and adults. Join us for our Kick-Off Party on June 4 from 2:30-7:30 p.m. Along with registration, there will be a variety of activities throughout the evening including: Traveling Lantern Theatre Company, model trains, guest storytime readers, and more.

The 2018 Summer Reading Program will run from June 4-August 2. We invite people of all ages to participate in our lineup of events happening all summer. For kids, there will be crafts, a STEM camp, coding, music petting zoo, and much more. Adults can join in with book discussions, presentations, movies, and more. Reading incentives and prizes will be available for all ages.

Find a full schedule of summer events on the library’s calendar of events.

All Summer Reading Program events are free, but registration in the program is required for some activities. You can sign up at the Kick-Off Party on June 4 or anytime afterwards at the library service desk. Upon registering in the program, both kids and adults will receive a reading log that they may submit to be eligible for prizes. Join the program and celebrate a summer of reading with us!
